To strengthen my group, I am looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates, eager to answer highly relevant biomedical questions and evolve in a multidisciplinary environment with biologists, chemists, physicists, and physicians notably using state of the art imaging techniques. Among others your tasks will be:

  • Development and application of disease specific imaging tracers to monitor therapeutic approaches or pathophysiology in vivo
  • Utilizing novel imaging technologies and state-of-the-art biotechnological methods
  • Support with teaching, writing publications and third-party funding applications
  • Engagement in scientific and industrial collaborations

 

The successful candidate should ideally possess scientific expertise in medicinal chemistry and radiochemistry, demonstrated by a relevant PhD degree. Your profile should ideally be composed of the following:

  • Strong practical skills in radiochemistry, synthetic and analytical chemistry
  • Strong publication track in the field of medicinal chemistry, radiochemistry
  • Structured and organized work with a high degree of self-responsibility and supervision
  • Strong ability to work in a team, supervise and handle multiple projects in parallel
  • Experience with hands-on preclinical PET/MR imaging is a plus but not a requirement. The candidate can grow in a lively and interactive working atmosphere within a well-connected network of PhD students and scientists in the dynamic city of Tübingen
