- Conducting molecular biology and biochemical experiments to investigate PDE4D in adipocytes and mouse models
- Planning, documentation and analysis of in vivo and in vitro experiments
- Characterization of metabolic phenotypes (e.g., lipolysis, insulin sensitivity, adipose tissue remodeling)
- Presentation and discussion of results within the team and at scientific conferences
- Participation in scientific publications and in the further development of joint research projects of the institute
- Completed master's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related subject
- Strong interest in metabolic research and the molecular mechanisms of adipocyte and metabolic functions
- Practical experience with cell culture and molecular biology methods; experience with animal models is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to work and high level of self-motivation
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment
